NEC is an investor across multiple Springs projects. Our members have participated in equity raises at:

  • Springs at Winchester Ranch, a 252 unit "Class A" apartment complex being developed in Lexington, KY

  • Springs at Essex Farms is a 284 unit "Class A" apartment complex being developed in Charleston, SC

  • Springs at Memorial is a 228 unit "Class A" apartment complex being developed in Oklahoma City, OK

  • Springs at May Lakes is a 304 unit, "Class-A" market rate multi-family housing community on 19.5 acres of land near the northeast corner of May Avenue & 104th Street in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

  • Springs at South Broadway is a 228 unit "Class A" apartment complex being developed in Rochester, MN

  • The Springs at Bee Ridge is a 360 unit, "Class-A" market rate multifamily housing community on roughly 26 acres of land at Cattlemen Road and Proctor Road in Sarasota, Florida.

  • NEC has invested in an additional 5 Springs communities in Austin, TX, Ft Myers, FL, Round Rock, TX, Longmont, CO, and West Chester, OH

The above projects are all being led by the amazing team at Continental Properties. Continental is an experienced national developer and operator of apartment communities and dates back to 1979.

NEC purchased Fitzsimons Self Storage in September 2017. Fitzsimons Self Storage is a stabilized, 400+ unit self-storage facility in Aurora that is on a prime real estate parcel.

NEC invested in Applied Fiber in early 2015. Applied Fiber is disrupting the mature, $5B-$10B category of steel and wire cable with synthetic fiber cable. Applied Fiber is the industry leader and only specialist in terminating these type of synthetic cables and enabling loads > 100,000 pounds.

NEC invested in a new Greenbox Storage location in Centennial, CO in late 2016. Greenbox operates "certifiably green storage" and is changing the face of self storage in central Denver with its state-of-the-art amenities, unparalleled customer focus, convenient locations, and competitive pricing.
